The first ever Sunday Best by Unwrapped, on Sunday 6 September 2009, attracted stylish crowds in pursuit of the latest and most unique offerings from Western Australia's design stars of the future.

Hosted by the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) in Northbridge, the event featured more than 50 designer stalls, plus gourmet coffee by Five Senses and food by Don Hancey.

Now in it's third year as Perth's most successful designer market, Unwrapped is delighted to be on board with the Perth Fashion Festival.

Perth Fashion Festival Director Mariella Harvey Hanrahan said the event gave up and coming WA designers a great opportunity to kick-start their career.

'The Festival was delighted to have Unwrapped as part of its seven day calendar this year.'

'The inclusion of this great market initiative reflects the further expansion of our program by giving greater exposure to early-career designers, alongside the Perth Fashion Festival's increased focus on highlighting WA's impressive fashion and art industries,' said Mariella.
